Jelle van Tongeren inherited his affinity for music from a luthier father and an artist mother. His musical voyage began with classical strains before the jazz current swept him away at 16, inspired by Django Reinhardt and Fats Navarro’s music. Jelle plays regularly with gypsy jazz icon Mozes Rosenberg, with his own group The Busquitos, and the Reinier Voet Quartet. He has performed from South Korea to New York to Turkey, and his contributions grace over 25 albums.
